Logging In
To begin your course, click in the box, and type in your Voucher Code, supplied by PDI or your NHS trust. Once you have done this, click on the ‘Submit’ button to log in.
Please note: You have 72 hours from logging in to complete your course. After this point your voucher will expire and an administration fee will apply to reset your voucher.
For the cervical sample takers update you will also see the following box.
Once you have logged in, you will need to fill in some information about yourself, your Lab area and your Cancer co-ordinator. Depending on who purchased the voucher, some of this information may already have been filled in for you.
Finally, you need to tick the box at the bottom to confirm that you have completed required number of audits according to NHSCSP standards (2006).

Viewing the presentations
![]() |
The presentation window will appear in the middle of the screen. All the controls are at the bottom of the screen, and are described below:
The Pause Button on the far left lets you pause the presentation if you need to take a break. If your presentation appears jerky or stops, you can pause it to allow some time for the presentation to “buffer” to your machine.

The Stop Button next to the pause button will stop the video presentation. If you stop the video, you will have to start it again from the beginning.

The Progress Clock on the left tells you how far through the current presentation you are in minutes and seconds.
The Progress Bar to the right of the clock shows you how far through the presentation you are. The black line Shows your current position. The Dark Grey Bar shows you how much of the presentation has been downloaded (buffered) to your machine. If your video freezes or playback is jerky, try pausing playback until more of the presentation has been buffered.

The Progress Clock on the right shows the total length of the current presentation you are watching.
The Full Screen Button expands the presentation to fill your entire screen. We do not recommend this as it can slow playback and reduce the quality of the video.
The Volume Control on the right lets you adjust the playback volume of the presentation. Click to the right to increase volume, and to the left to decrease volume. The more bars that are shown in solid black, the louder the volume setting.
The Back and Next buttons allow you to progress to the next section of the presentation. When the current presentation ends, click Next to proceed. If you wish to review a presentation, click Back.

Once each of the presentation sections has finished, you can view it again if you wish by clicking on the replay icon in the middle of the screen. If you wish to continue, click on the Next button in the bottom right of the screen.
